Committees
Membership – Responsible for recruiting members, billing dues at appropriate time, and follow-up on dues payment. (Chair – Tim Maher)
By-Laws – Ensures association operational practices and compliance with state and federal laws are reflected in association by-laws. (Chair – Ernie Elsner)
Nominating – Researches and recommends new members to the Board of Directors, ensuring diversity of the Board throughout the Beaver Creek community. Recommends slate of officers to fill key positions on the board. (Chair – Jim Power)
Communications – Meets with Beaver Creek Resort Company management team to discuss issues of mutual interest between the BCRC and the homeowner’s association. (Chair – Frank Flood)
Social – Responsible for planning and conducting all social activities of the Association. (Chair – Sammy Myers)
Safety/Security/Transportation/Traffic – Interfaces with the Beaver Creek Resort Company on issues relative to traffic and other public safety concerns within the community. (Chair – Dan Fitchett)
Beautification – Seeks projects within Beaver Creek that beautify and enhance the community. (Chair – Ginny Forstmann)
Legal – Reviews and advises the Executive Committee and the full Board of Directors on any matter with a legal aspect involved. This committee also works with outside council on any actual or threatened litigation, including negotiating with Vail Resorts and the Beaver Creek Resort Company on matters affecting the community within Beaver Creek.
